Support Working Mums
A Strategic Investment in Your Organisation's Future
HR leaders are increasingly recognizing a critical challenge: supporting working mothers through their unique transition and retention challenges.
Consider these statistics:
43% of skilled women leave the workforce after becoming mothers
The cost of replacing a mid-level employee ranges from 150-200% of their annual salary
75% of working mothers report feeling isolated and disconnected from professional peers
Companies lose valuable institutional knowledge when experienced mothers opt out
Investing in working mothers delivers clear returns:
✅ 10% reduction in working mother turnover. Over 2 million SEK saved per retained mid-level employee in recruitment & training costs.
✅ Higher engagement. 21% increase in profitability for organisations that actively invest in employee well-being.
✅ Stronger retention & inclusion. Reduced absenteeism by up to 41% when well-being and workplace support are prioritised.
✅ Better return-to-work success rates. Structured reintegration plans reduce attrition after parental leave and any sick leave.
✅ Enhanced employer brand. Companies with strong parental support attract & retain top female talent.
Supporting working mothers isn’t a “nice to have”; it’s a strategic retention and performance lever.

Meet Simone, Matrescence Coach & Mum
I'm Sweden's first Matrescence Coach certified through the world first ICF accredited Mama Rising program backed by research from Columbia University.
I've also worked the last 20 years in tech across many different areas including CX, UX, Service Design, Comms, L&D, even Business Analysis.
I've had the chance to learn from some amazing mums working across both Australia and Sweden, and in both cases I've seen where systems and policies supported them as well as did the opposite (yes, even in Sweden!).
Now I'm on a mission to help workplaces and mums find the best ways forward together - to keep mums engaged, confident, and stress free, so they can perform their best as they (and you) know how!
